Dr. Aparna Ramakrishan – Phychiatrist

Despite always wanting to practice Phychiatrist, Dr. Aparna Ramakrishan discovered during her internship that she was more interested in psychiatry. She chose to pursue a career as a psychiatrist because she thinks there aren’t many things more complex or fascinating than the human mind. She has participated in research projects and was awarded the WPA’s 2017 Young Psychiatrist Fellowship. Her research interests include women’s mental health, neuropsychiatry, psychotherapy, addiction, couples counseling, relationship issues, and child and adolescent psychiatry.
