Dr Shrivastava, Neurologist, completed his MBBS, MD, and DM in neurology at the esteemed Christian Medical College in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, the year after receiving his medical degrees.
As a student, he spends a lot of time researching diseases that affect the white matter, like ADEM and multiple sclerosis. At the 2009 Kochi National Conference of Neurology (IANCON), his paper on the clinical profile of ADEM took home the top honour.
He spent two years at CMC Vellore as an assistant professor of neurology. Dr Shrivastava previously held positions in several reputable private hospitals in Delhi and the National Capital Region before joining DNSH. He has given numerous lectures throughout his 17-year medical career on various medical topics or to audiences of illustrious national standing. He played a crucial role in creating acute stroke management protocols in two prior hospitals.
