The BMSCE is the country of India’s first private-sector effort in engineering education. The illustrious institution has produced more than 40,000 engineers and leaders over the past 74 years. These individuals have enriched the world through their enormous contributions to humanity. BMSCE, which initially only offered three undergraduate courses, now offers 13 undergraduate and 16 postgraduate courses in established and new fields. Its 14 departments offer Ph.D./M.Sc (Engineering by Research) degrees in science, engineering, and management and are recognized as Research Centers. The College has been using outcome-based education successfully. One of Karnataka’s largest student populations among engineering colleges is found at the College.
